Difference: solar hot water systems and solar energy for electricity

Solar hot water systems, referred to as solar thermal systems, use direct heat from the sun to heat water, while solar photovoltaics "PV" use sunlight to generate electricity.  They are two very different types of technology. Both solar technologies use panels to collect hot water solar modules that have black copper pipes running through them filled with water.

With a lower investment, greater savings can be made on bills by installing a large photovoltaic system that both supplies the house with electricity and heats the hot water via an electrical element or a heat pump.

LG Solar Panels are designed to seamlessly generate electricity straight to the inverter and convert it to AC (Alternating Current) which is perfect for household use.
