The most common place to install photovoltaic solar panels is on the roof. Most roofs usually have the desired specifications for installation so that the modules receive maximum sunlight. However, if roof installation is not applicable or desirable, solar panels can also be mounted. You just need to make sure there are no objects blocking access to the sun.
The following steps explain how to install the solar panel on a roof:
Installing the Scaffolding First, you need to erect the scaffolding to ensure safety throughout the entire installation process on the roof. Install the solar panel brackets, the solar panel mounting system should be configured. This will support the base of the solar panels. The entire mounting structure should be inclined and angled between 18 and 36 degrees to ensure maximum exposure to sunlight.
Once the brackets are installed, the solar module itself must be installed on the mounting frame. Make sure that all bolts and nuts are tightened securely so that they remain stable.
The next step of the installation process is installing the electrical wiring. In most cases, MC4 connectors are used as they are suitable for all types of modules. Installation of the solar inverter must then be connected to the system. Inverters are usually installed near the main panel and can be both indoors and outdoors however they are more efficient when they are stored in a cooler place, ideally utility rooms as they stay cool and ventilated for most of the year. If the inverter is placed outdoors, it should be kept away from the afternoon sun. The next stage is connecting the solar inverter and solar battery.
Electricity on cloudy days can also lower the cost of the solar battery storage system during installation. The inverter must be connected to the consumer unit in order to produce electricity. You can use your computer or other device to check the performance of your solar system. For example, you can check how much electricity you are generating at different times and decide what time to use your washing machine or other utility company. The newly installed solar panel system must be switched on and tested. The installation of the solar module is then completed.
